It’s been a joy to call the beautiful town of Esterhazy home for the past five years. During this time, I’ve had the privilege of working with children and families in both the public and early childhood education sectors—at Esterhazy High School and the Esterhazy Community Daycare Cooperative.
As a qualified teacher with over 12 years of experience teaching Grades 8-12 Math and Science, I’m excited to bring my passion for education to Esterhazy Christian Academy. My background also includes serving as a department head at an international school in South Africa and stepping into the role of temporary Executive Director at the local daycare. These leadership opportunities have equipped me with valuable experience in staff management and curriculum development, all of which I now bring to my role as principal.
My faith has always been central in my life, but it was in 2010, during a time of personal crisis, that I came to truly know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. I am deeply grateful for the journey God has led me on—both the blessings and the challenges—which have shaped me into the person and leader I am today.
It is a true honour to serve the Esterhazy Christian Academy community. I am passionate about providing a Christ-centered, high-quality education where children feel safe, supported, and inspired. With God’s guidance, I look forward to partnering with teachers, parents, and students to uphold the school’s vision and mission, and to ensure that each child receives a biblically grounded education in a nurturing and values-driven environment.
Behind the scenes at Esterhazy Christian Academy, there's a dedicated group of individuals working hard to make this school a reality. Whether we're parents, grandparents, or simply community members with a passion for Christ-centered education, we all share a common goal: to see the children in our community thrive.
If you see us around town, don’t hesitate to say hello—we’d love to connect and answer any questions you might have!
Esterhazy became home 13 years ago—a place where community is built, friendships flourish, and families grow. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving in several roles, including as the executive director of the daycare—a position that helped prepare me for this very moment.
In this new role, my mission is to help lead the school’s overall direction, making sure we stay aligned with our leadership’s vision and that the mission and values are lived out in every part of the school. At the heart of this work is a desire to build a strong, united, and life-changing school community, with the mission and vision guiding all we do.
In 1 Samuel 17, when David faces Goliath, he boldly asks in verse 29, “Is there not a cause?” Those words still inspire and challenge us today. I can’t think of a greater cause than partnering with our leadership team, parents, and community to strengthen Christian education.
We firmly believe that deep faith and academic excellence go hand in hand. Excellence isn’t limited to certain areas—it’s a mindset that influences every part of school life. Faith and learning aren’t kept separate; they are purposefully woven together to shape a strong, lasting Christian worldview.
